biscuit... i that's probably a cookie here. hehe! But at least you biked to work! I think part of the trick to being healthy is not letting yourself feel guilty about everything you do that is generally thought of as unhealthy. You can't be dialed into the fitness mindset all the time.. expect perhaps if you are some obsessive compulsive athlete (like I used to be.) Don't let one detour from your goals completely derail you until the next time you convince yourself to take fitness seriously again. Have your weekly "cheat day(s)," and then get back on the bike.

I did a little abs workout and 20 push-ups this morning as soon as I got out of bed. That's the sort of thing I need to get into the habit of again, start my day well.

I'm a morning workout, or not at all, kinda guy.

3 miles this morning. It was unseasonably warm, which was nice, but rain is coming today and when the front passes it's supposed to be much colder. Heavy frost expected in a few days. At least dressing to run will be easier next week.

I actually dragged myself out this morning and did a 5km run. I didn't time it, but pace felt OK and I felt good afterwards.

I'll be walking a few miles today as well to get to and from the Norwich match. Although I will also have several beers too!!!

I find that its best not to pay too much attention to time, at least not on a regular basis. I have a GPS watch of course, and known how many miles I cover and in what time, but I don't concern myself with pace unless I'm actually training for something. Its easy to get caught up in the stats. It ruins the process and risks resulting in burnout.

Yeah. I do have a goal to run a sub-20 minute 5km, but I'm nowhere near achieving that yet so no point timing. I might get myself a watch, at the moment I just run and then check after how far I went, although for 5km I have a dedicated route.

No run this morning, but I may take a camera out for a walk to snap some pictures of the autumn colors.

4 miles. Coldest morning yet so far this season, but it turned into a beautiful afternoon.

My legs ached for a couple of days after my 5k, which isn't a great sign! My levels have obviously dropped quite significantly.

When you're getting in shape you do need to hurt at some point. The trick is that you shouldn't go hard enough to hurt everyday. Limit that kind of effort to a few present of your weekly output.

So we had the coldest morning yet the other day. Today was totally different. Tomorrow is looking the same. But over the weekend, more rain and then a temperature drop. I'm actually looking forward to it. I don't like the cold, but I prefer the consistency of it to the flip flopping.

An easy 3 miles for me this morning.
