Improvements

It's fair to say I'm pretty shit at this. Believe it or not, this is my first attempt at making a message board since Ezboard way back when. It's odd, with all the technological advancements the internet has seen since that time, creating message boards has gotten manifestly more difficult! Back then you needed a couple of minutes and zero knowledge of anything and you could knock up a perfectly functional, visually appealing message board.

So, I'm not precious, if you can think of any improvements that would make this place look nicer or be more user-friendly, let me know and I'll try (and probably fail!) to implement them.

I know about as much as you do. I think in the short term at least, this is probably fine. If we manage to attracted some likeminded people who are serious about hanging out and having fun, it might then be worth it to look into more sophisticated options. In the meantime, let's take this one step at a time.

Good plan. We've had a few lingerers this evening, but no one registering. I just worry they're put off by the basic interface.
