Anyone watched it yet? I think I'm going to make a start this week.

The Disney era TV series have been hit and miss in my eyes. I absolutely adored The Mandalorian and Andor, thought they were both absolutely brilliant.

However, The Book of Boba Fett didn't do a lot for me and I thought Kenobi was very poor and pretty pointless.

I've been watching Ahsoka. I found the first four episodes underwhelming, however this week's episode 5 is a big improvement. I'm hoping that they stick the landing with these final three weeks yet to come.

Sounds promising. I found Andor was a bit of a slow starter as well but that turned into something excellent. Even my missus, who isn't a Star Wars fan, enjoyed it.

I loved every minute on Andor. It was a slow burn, but also very dense and full of tension, which meant it was never boring despite the pace. Ahsoka's first four episodes, on the other hand, just didn't have much of interest or originality going on to fill the minutes.

Andor was brilliantly acted as well so you even appreciated the slower bits. Do you know if they are going to making a season 3?

That said, I really wanted a third Mandalorian season and whilst it wasn't awful, I don't think it lived up to the first two series, so maybe they should just leave Andor as it is. The ending was a fine point to conclude it.

Andor will only be two seasons. Season 2 was written, but production is being hindered by the writers and actors strikes in Hollywood. Season 2 has time jumps between episodes and is intended to get is back to Rogue One.

Mando S3 was pretty weak. I think it was a mistake to use the show as a springboard for their other plans. The show's appeal in the first two season was how small and focused it was. Ideally season 3 goes smaller, and lets all the Mando characters we met move on to another show or the Dave Filoni movie.

It annoyed me that they let Mandalorian hijack Book of Boba Fett. Like there wasn't enough material with Boba Fett and Fennec Shand for the series to stand on its own, they had to get Mando in in what I think was just a ratings grab. Good writing would have been enough of ratings grab if they did it right.
