Its like 20 degrees Fahrenheit and windy this morning, making the windchill kinda painful. We're near the end of having to deal with days like this, so I'm kinda allowing myself to slack until conditions get more comfortable.

I only just broke the 50km mark for March, which considering I managed over 100km in February isn't great. But I have been doing some daily workouts. One issue with that is I've experienced a wrist issue, when I put any weight on either wrist I get a searing pain. I thought it might be carpal tunnel or repetitive strain injury from working at a desk, but I've realised it's actually the press up regime I've been doing. So I'm reevaluating that side of my workout and I've dusted out my barbell. Nothing major, it's only 16kg plus the weight of the bar itself, but it allows me to do some muscle workouts without wrecking my wrists.

I guess I'm reaching that age where things are getting fragile!!!

Just back from a 5km run. I've beaten my 20km a week target with two days to spare this week, though I fell 7km short last week so have some catching up to do. I need to get a long run done soon as I haven't done a 10km plus run since the 6th March.

12.2km this morning. The longest distance I've run since I was 21. It might be the longest run I've ever done.

Just did an 8km, now up to 85km for March to back up my 100km February. My aim for April is to keep at the 20km a week target, but also do a single, 15km run. That would certainly be the most I've ever run.
