I'd love that. Send Din Djarin and Grogu to the big screen for the reluctant heroes idea and then has a TV series centred around Bo-Katan and her dream of re-establishing Mandalore. The opportunities for adventure are endless.

It just annoys me that we have the awful prequel storyline hanging over everything like a bad smell.

Andor hasn't been my favorite, Star Wars is still about Jedi and Sith to me even after all these years.

That was my speculation, that Grogu would be a central character for future franchise moves because of the longevity of his species but also to piggyback off Yoda's popularity.

However they should be careful because I think one of the selling points about Yoda is we don't really know anything about their species so it makes them even more interesting. If they kill the mysticism behind Yoda's species, it would be a blow to the franchise.

Then again, it may only be "die-hard" fans that are let down....if there's even such a thing anymore. Star Wars culture is probably more relaxed now since people who grew up with it are older and kids nowadays probably don't feel like they have much to do with the direction it goes in. It's their parents or grandparents that are really invested in the direction of Star Wars.

Star Wars is about Jedi and Sith, but its also about other things, and I think that its important for it to be allowed to be about other things. The cycles of jedi falling and returning can only be told and retold so many ways and so often. Andor was a great change of pace.

Yeah but that varies by the individuals draw to the franchise. My draw was Jedi and Sith while other people might have enjoyed other aspects of the story more.

The multitude of possibilities in character based stories is exciting though, "The Mandalorian, Solo, Andor, Ahsoka, etc.."

Did anyone else enjoy Bad Batch?

I know people think like you. However even they don't know when they're going to change and grow tired of getting what they think they want. We know this happens because without fail any popular trend in TV and film ends up fading away.

Well we can only do our part as fans, staying active and keeping opportunities for all people to get involved.

I think Bad Batch is great!

I loved Clone Wars, but never got into Rebels and Bad Batch. Even without having watched, I always enjoyed listening to Rebel Force Radio's aftershow podcasts about each episode.

On the topic of Star Wars animation... with Disney owning Lucasfilm and Pixar I'm baffled that they have yet to pull out all the stops and do a high end animated theatrical Star Wars movie. It seems like a no brainer.

I liked Rebels, but didn't watch the last season. I'm going to watch it with the kids before I let them watch Ahsoka.
