Its probably picking up search engine bots as "guests." But that's a good thing. It means we should start appearing on search engines soon.

I'm not sure it is, the config lets you track visits from spiders and bots and according to that our last visit was Google two hours ago.

ah, okay.
If you're concerned about visitors potentially not staying due to our current appearance perhaps things could be clarified in the board description, or if you are otherwise able to put a message at the top of the board like in the old days to explain the situation and our goals.

I'm sure that's possible. The Announcements bit is really easy to customise, I'm not sure about the bit above the forums but I'm sure it can be done.
