As Danster heard a distant rumbling, one hand instinctively rose to his head and the other to his nose. For a terrifying second he thought Ceel was about to bring about a legendary force fart on the establishment.
He could not have been more relieved, or more delighted, when his long time companion entered the bar with a cask of fine, rare Gungan Scotch.
"You do know we can't serve that to humans, don't you?"

"Nonsense! They'll drink anything, and the republic revenue collectors don't need to know about it."
*General Ceel rolled the barrel into a small closet behind what used to be the bar. He used the force to flip the barrel upright and then closed the door, hiding the contraband. There would be plenty of time to tap it and sample the goods after they finished cleaning.*

"Remember? Of Course I remember..." said General Ceel, which was code for "No, I don't remember a damn thing." But it wasn't just the booze. General Ceel was quite old after all.

*Hours later, after much hard work but the two gungans, and a hired droid, the bar and dining room were beginning to shape up.*
*General Ceel moved on to the kitchen....*

Danster had entered the kitchen moments before Ceel to find a place that looked like a bomb had hit it. Probably because in its time several bombs had hit it.
"Erm, how about I leave you with the kitchen, I'll go and sort the outside so people know we're actually open."

"I've got this," said the Gungan. "But when it comes time to tackle the bathroom.... send a droid."
*It just so happened that Ceel had passed the bathroom earlier in the day and it wasn't a pretty site.*

Danster pulled a comm-link from his pocket and punched a few buttons.
"Tee-see, I'm going to test your over-ride system that allows you to disobey orders. Get your hunk-of-metal down to Shmi's Diner, I've got a job for you."
Tee-see was his malfunctioning protocol droid, TC-420. For all the headaches he gave Danster, he would relish the prospect of sending him into restrooms that had been abandoned for two years.

*General Ceel flushed the toilet, washed his hands, and brushed past a protocol droid who seemed to dominate the doorway.*

Danster woke up on the floor behind the bar, an empty Scotch bottle clutched to his chest and an identical one lying next to his head. He clambered to his feet, amazing at the glistening diner that lay before his eyes.
"Damn Ceel, this place looks nearly as good as it did in the old days. What did you use to get Clegg Holdfast's bloodstains off the back wall?"

"Scotch.... I put that shit on everything," he managed to mumble through the hangover.
*After thirty more minutes of moaning and groaning he finally got to his feet and stretched his arms high over his head to yawn.*
"So, when do we open?"
